My Audio Keeps Stuttering and Crackling

I just built my PC and installed the newest audio drivers I could find on realtek. But one major problem was that the audio kept crackling and stuttering when I installed it. I tried updating it, troubleshoot it, and watched many videos on ways to fix it, but it's still there. Can anyone help me with this problem please? Thank you!

Can you please try installing one-level earlier version of the driver and see if that fixes the problem? Also, please make sure that Windows has all the updates installed.

I think I've fixed the problem by putting AC97 as the audio in the BIOS instead of the HD audio.
