Help! - 2 dektop and docs folders - reinstall DVD wont work either!

Hi guys,

I just got a new PC with a 256gb SSD and a 1tb HDD. So I tried to switch the location of Desktop and documents folders to be on D:\ Drive(HDD)
But I placed them in the root (D;\) when the instructions said to make a folder in the root I think. Anyway Ive been trying to move location of desktop and documents since and made things worse!
the contents of my documents folder are now on my desktop and i cant get my desktop back.

I need a fresh install on the SSD I think to get the default folders back to normal and to try switch them to D drive properly.

But when I click the win 10 exe DVD it stops and says something went wrong:cant validate product key or somesuch.

I cant take it anymore.

Any advice?

Boot from your Win 10 DVD...not start it from inside the currently running OS.
