Monitor Shopping in the UK

So, I'm moving to the UK(specifically England) in the fall for school and I need to buy a monitor for my gaming rig. Now, I only have an r9 290 so I can't really handle 1440p or 4k, or high refresh rates. So I'm looking for a monitor that is on the less expensive side, but I really want it to be IPS. It's gotta be 27" or bigger, and 1080p is fine unless it's somehow cheaper at 1440p or 4k and I can just run my games in 1080p and let the monitor upscale. Looking for something less than $300 USD.

Anyone have any suggestions on IPS monitors they like on the cheap that I can buy in the UK?

If not, what are some websites that sell monitors that ship within the UK? I know Newegg does, but it costs extra because of the 20% import fee, so I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Solution
Use UK retailers such as Overclockers.co.uk, scan.co.uk or amazon UK.
You can look for a monitor right now using the UK version of pcpartpicker.

NewEgg has a UK site as well you can order from: https://www.newegg.com/global/uk/

However I would also look at what Brick & Mortar stores they have there that sell computer hardware comparable to our Fry's Electronics, Micro Center, and Best Buy. Especially if you are in or near a major city like London or Manchester.

Newegg is pointless for the UK. You have to import from a US warehouse which means paying shipping, custom fees and VAT on top.
I wouldn't really bother with brick and mortar stores since they most likely sell at a higher price. There aren't many brick and mortar stores really and they don't really stock much in store either. Unless they have something you need in a pinch, there isn't a real reason to go to them.

^^Ah well that's news to me. I thought NewEgg had a warehouse distribution center in the UK like Amazon (missed opportunity for them, their loss). I've heard horror stories from people in the UK and mainland European nations having a hard time obtaining PC hardware. Such a shame the politicians there do not care to make changes on taxes/fees etc.

Pricing wise from online retailers, it's not all too bad once you factor in shipping from the US/China warehouses and then VAT.

I can't believe I didn't think of that! I used pcpartpicker to build my rig, so it only makes sense there would be a UK version. That works really well! I found these two (somewhat)reasonably priced monitors to pick between https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CKQ0TJE/?tag=pcp0f-21

they are both cheaper in the US, but hey, what are you gonna do? I could also look at some of the brick and mortar stores when I get there as recommended before, just for comparison's sake.
