My PC has a GIGABYTE GA-Z270-HD3P motherboard.
I was wondering if buying a GIGABYTE GA-Z270X-UD3 would be an actual upgrade.
In my country it sells for a 25% price difference compared to the HD3P (120 vs 160 euros).
I particularly appreciate the high number of 3.0/3.1 USB ports on the rear panel of both motherboards. I don't plan to do any SLI.
The only difference I have noticed are some PCI-ex slots more on the UD3 and the Realtek 887 vs 1220. Are they much different anyway?
Thanks.
P.S.: On a side note, am I the only one finding Gigabyte's App Center both really ugly and unfunctional? My previous board was an AsRock Fatal1ty, and the proprietary software was really nice and functional. I am missing it.
