Corsair LPX 3GHz only managing 2,4GHz on Ryzen

Hey Guys,
I have recently put together the following PC:

What I did not check at the time was memory compatibility with my Mobo - CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R which is not on the support list from ASRock, however it is on the support list from AMD.
I have the newest AGESA 10006a BIOS.
The highest I can get the RAM to do is 2,4GHz, anything above and the PC won't boot using the XMP profiles.

Does anyone have this RAM on a Ryzen build? Or should I return the RAM given I just built the rig on Friday or try to tinker with it a little bit more? I feel a bit stupid about this as I decided to change the Mobo at the last minute but did not think about memory compatibility.

I ordered a new pair of RAM - Corsair Dominator 3000MHz - CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 which are Samsung B-dies and the system booted with 2933 MHz first time without any issues (even though they are not officially supported by ASRock)

For what's it worth so did my Kingston KHX4300 with Hynix chip. Right BIOS is essential.
