How do you know if your monitor arm is compatible with your monitors?

I am very new to this like, set up upgrading scene. So I have these two monitors just laying around:

With one having lower resolution on it, I'm thinking I should stack the monitors.

How do I know what monitor arm I should get? I was thinking of getting one that just clips on the edges of the monitor instead of screwing on the back. Any suggestions please post some links on what to buy!

The first monitor you list has "100mm x 100mm VESA MOUNT" which is standard mounting locations. The Acer monitor doesn't say anything. The user's manual seems to show mounting holes. You will have to verify this.

You want a 100x100mm VESA mounting system IMO. That is the most secure mounting method.
