Monitor loses signal, when minimizing

Ibrought a new monitor today and i have a little problem that i cannot fix, every time i minimize my game the monitor loses signal for like 3 second and then it recovers, my previous monitor did the same thing until i changed the advanced options of the monitor to the correct refresh rate, but now with this one that solucion doesnt seems to work, any advice?
My monitor is a viewsonic XG2401 and the previous one was a samsung cfg70

HelloHello, i got this monitor today and i been having this problem all day, so i changed my defective Cfg70 minitor for this one and when i minimize my game ( any game) the screen loses signal like for 2 sec and the shows the desktop. With the cfg70 i had the same problem but it was rlly easy to fix, just adjust the refresh rate of the screen throught the advance setting on the desktop and all done, but now with this one that solution doesnt seems to work, and other point is that this monitor shows like a generic pnp monitor and i dont know if that is related to the problem.
