I currently have 28 inch 4k panel i planning on getting a 24 inch 1080p monitor i know that my dpi will be alot faster on the 1080p monitor (atm its 2400) but would my ingame sens for Overwatch be faster due to it being on a smaller screen?

In game sens 1.62
Current DPI 2400
Current Display 28 Inch 4k
New Display 24 Inch 1080p

Solution

At 1080P, there is NO DIFFERENCE in performance between a 24 inch monitor and a 27 inch monitor. Both are displaying the SAME number of pixels.
At a given viewing distance, the image on the 24 inch monitor will SEEM sharper, because the pixels are physically smaller and therefore closer together.

You would be going from a 4K (3840x2160) to a 1k(1920x1080) or a display with 1/4 the total number of pixels to be rendered. Depending on your video card and CPU, you should see in increase in frame rates on the 1080P monitor over the 4k monitor. the 28 in vs the 24 in has no bearing on the performance.

Yeah ik that but would it affect my in game sensitivity like would i look around faster?

the fewer pixels that a video card has to render, the more frames it can do in a given period of time.
Looking around is, by its nature very unpredictable, so I would think that that would be more CPU limited.
What CPU and Graphics card do you have?
