1080p 24 inch or 27?

Desk space isnt an issue its the same resolution my main problem is what would look better the 24 inch or 27? im still going to be sitting 2.5ft away.

Currently have a 27 inch 4k monitor so the downgrade to the 1080 is sad but for 144hz its a trade im willing to make.

The 27" 1080p screen would look all right at 2.5 ft away, closer than that, the 24" 1080p is ideal (as you can see some "pixelations" on the 27" at a closer distance). Visual acquity, text/icon sizes, are also good on the 27" at that distance (I find it too small for the 24" 1080p at 2.5 ft away, and always lean forward just to verify some smaller-font texts).

Just wanted to make sure lots of people have been saying that the 1080p 27 inch is the same thing as the 24 inch one and that the screen size makes no difference.
