Crazy for wanting to go backwards from a 7700k to 6700k

So I recently built a system with a i7 7700k Kaby Lake and to be honest not impressed the least with its temps. While playing games at about 60% load on the CPU i reach temps in the 70s while being cooled under Corsair h100i. Have friends with almost identical setups but instead have 6700k and have temps 15-20c cooler not to mention the nice ramp up on my 7700k while opening a web page and hearing my fans ramp all the way up and then go down. Does anyone think it would be insane to sell my cpu and go backwards with a skylake 6700k

Yes, it would be insane. 70C is fine, especially on intel's crap TIM which will be the same on a 6700K. If it really bothers you that much then get it delidded, doesn't cost that much and will do a lot more for your OC than moving to a worse OCing CPU.
