Windows 10 vs 8 for Budget Gaming

Hi All,

I'm building a budget gaming PC - hoping to keep it under $600. I currently own a Windows 8 license. How much will it limit my new build if I don't upgrade to Windows 10?

Specs:
Intel i3-7100
GTX 1050 Ti

For gaming, the difference between Windows 8 and Windows 10 is pretty insignificant until you compare games with DX12 support, then Windows 10 wins.

Having said that, Windows 10 is more stable for me. However, if you're perfectly happy with Windows 8, feel free to stick with it (for now).
