I'm putting together a new computer and would like to know which graphics card best fits my needs. I don't game, but I would like to be able to run 3 monitors simultaneously (preferably 2 hdmi but not limited to based on price difference), on one card and the ability for it to produce 4k video (for watching streamed movies/sporting events).

The components I plan to use are:
ASRock 970 Extreme4 Motherboard
AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300. FD4300WMHKBOX
EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W
Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB Single DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL9 @1.5V UDIMM 240-Pin Memory Module BLS4G3D1609DS1S00 x 2
250GB SATA Hard Drive w/ Windows 10

I own the motherboard, hard drive, and one of the RAM sticks already so I'm trying to use those.
When I load my current computer down, it's about 3GB RAM in usage.

I'm also up for suggestions if you think there is a better CPU I should use, and I'll be buying a case for it all as well.

I'm trying to keep this as cheap as possible, but at the same time I want it to work very well. Thanks

If you're not planning to game at all, and just want to stream 4k content and have 3 monitors, get a nvidia GT 710. This card can run 3 monitors and stream 4k. Plus the part is $30-$40

I appreciate the insight. It doesn't appear that any of the Ryzen CPUs are compatible with my motherboard. Obviously the Ryzens are superior but at what point would it become overkill? It would be adding $200+ to the build.

Thanks.

Thanks Brad,

I forgot to add in my original post, but do you have any suggestions for a similar card with two hdmi's?

You can always get an adapter to change the VGA or DVI port to HDMI. The DVI adapters are cheaper because it does not need to convert analog to digital. They even make DVI to HDMI cables.

The cheapest card I was able to find that could stream 4k and had 2 HDMI ports was a 750ti for about $100 new

All of those parts are certainly compatible with each other.
