I'm looking to purchase a second monitor and just wanted to be double sure that my setup will work before dropping some cash.
I currently have an acer XB240H running off display port and am looking to buy a BenQ RL2460 running off HDMI for web browsing and console gaming.
I want to be sure that when I not using the console, I can run an extended desktop across the DP and HDMI monitors. I would also not be using both monitors for the same game, acer for gaming, BenQ for multitasking.
As I said before, I'm fairly certain this will work, but I just need to be sure.
Oh, and I'm also running Win 10 with a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 .
