Help me with resolution

ive got a TV and i have a gtx 550 ti gpu and my tv resolution is 1360x768 and when when i boot up pc default and recommended resolution is 1280x720 and it looks like absoulute shit and it doesnt even fit the fking screen but when i try vga cable other monitor its fine with 1360x768 soo wth i cant stand this do i need to buy a new tv with vga cable or is there a fix also when i change to 1360x768 it changes to 1920x1080i and i dont want to buy a new tv

You'll need to go into Nvidia display control and adjust the vertical and horizontal scaling.

Same thing happens with my 46" Samsung LED 1080p TV. When I use it as a PC display, 1920x1080 resolution extends off the screen until I adjust the scaling.

i went to nvidia control panel i went to change resolution i select 1080p 1360x768 and theres a button named customize and its gray so i cant press it and there are no more button to press
