Every File I Try To Extract Becomes Corrupt

As the title says whenever I try to extract a file it becomes corrupt, I tried using winrar and 7zip and the same thing still happens. I've tried turning off anti-virus and it hasn't solved the problem.

It's just zip/rar files such as MSI Afterburner, PS2 games for PCSX2. It doesn't matter what I do any file I choose just gets corrupted

At first I'd suspect your downloads being corrrupted. Do you turn off the anti-virus when trying to unpack the files, or also when downloading them? It could also be your hard drive going bad. Have you tried to download the files to another drive? Have you tried running CHKDSK /F on your hard drive?

I've tried running CHKDSK/ F and it seems to be working atm
