After playing around with undervolting my strix rx 480 and seeing good temp drops, I though, why not do the same with the cpu.
I've been playing around with the AI Suite TPU settings and have changed the following
vcore - 0.130
CPU Ratio x41
CPU cache ratio x41
BCLK 102.5
All stable using prime95 blend test for 2hrs, run 5 times max temp 57 using HWinfo (the ai suite eads 47deg max) with vcore mostly at 1.120 maximum peak at 1.152 Also did a xtu benchtest which gave 1196 score and max cpu temp 50.
I have not had any crashes/freezes and not tried going lower yet.

This just re sets when the pc is booted up again, so I have set the BCLK and CPU ratio in the bios but not sure how/what to set the vcore. I'd like the cpu voltage to drop when not being used much/idling. I also set XMP and ran the ram at cl15 2400 (which made 2460) XMP offers 2400 or 26
Any help would be appreciated and the simpler the instructions, the better.
Thanks

My take...
Keep it simple.

In the bios, set all options to default/auto.
Then set the multiplier for all cores to your desired number. 41 seems to be what you are looking for; that is reasonable.

Do your stress test.
Look for temperatures of 85c. or less and a vcore of 1.3 or less.
You might need to up the ram voltage a bit with 4 sticks.

As of 12/04/2016
What percent can get an overclock at a somewhat sane 1.40v Vcore.
