I'm looking for an affordable 2TB 2.5" Enterprise Hard drive, the price jump from 1 TB to 2 TB seems a bit high as I only seem to be finding newer SAS drives and nothing older/cheaper like the Seagate Constellation ES 1 TB 7200RPM 6 Gb/s for $50/each
The 2TB version I found is Seagate ST2000NX0243 2.5" 2TB SATA 6Gb/s 7.2K RPM for $290 but the price is a bit high for my needs.
Newegg/etc seems to no longer organize Enterprise Hard Drives very well so does anyone have suggestions for me? Does anyone know of drives that I am missing that are 2.5" 2TB? Seems like all they are making are expensive SAS drives, where are the cheap SATA 2.5"? 3.5" has tons of them.
