Samsung 850 Pro missing. Windows 10 slow ring. Came home today to my PC telling me that the Operating System was missing. I have an 850 Pro SSD and a WD Black. Only the WD can be seen by BIOS and Windows USB recovery iso. Nothing has changed on this build in 2 years. Any suggestions?

Solution
If you cant see it in BIOS is most likely dead.
Have you tried a different SATA port on your MB?
Between this and what you have already tried, if nothing worked, its dead.

Run the Samsung SSD diagnostic software - see if that turns up anything.

Check the Windows Trouble shooter via "WIN" + "I" and then select "Update & Security" and then "Troubleshoot".

If nothing found/fixed then proceed by opening up your PC and look for any disconnected or loose connections to the Samsung 850. Check both power and data.

Also check all other connections and card/memory seatings.

This was my boot drive. I reset the CMOS, tried different SATA cables, updated the bios, etc. None of that worked. Still not identified by the BIOS. Looks like a dead drive? Called Samsung and they said they would send me an email with information about sending in for a warranty repair / replacement.
