is this a good build for gaming, such as cs go, battlefield 1, gta 5? Will it be able to run cs go at around 300 fps medium-high and others at 60fps?

Solution
I you want to record you should get a Ryzen chip and not the 6700. You will get added benefit from the extra cores. I would look at a R5 1600 or R7 1700.

Also, your monitor will be your bottleneck in the system. There is no point in trying to go for 300fps on a monitor with a refresh rate of 60hz. The 60hz means that the pixels change 60 times a second. So your GPU could render 3000fps and your monitor could still only show 60fps. The highest hz monitor you are going to be able to find is 240hz and they can get expensive and a gtx 1060 is not going to get you that high of a fps. Here is a 240hz monitor that is a good one.

But if it were me, I would target...

But if it were me, I would target a 144hz monitor since a 1060 wont even be able to push 240hz and it would save you some money. Here is a good one.
