Screen turns black after login

Hey guys,
So I just build my PC, but when booting up windows turns black after logging in, this doesn't happen in safe mode.
Does anyone know what the problem is and/or how to solve it?

What's the brand and model of the graphics card or integrated graphics controller? What device driver did you download and install for the graphics device?

Asus RX 580 OC 8GB
Haven't downloaded the drivers yet, wanted to download when Windows was installed.
Should I maybe download it via an usb stick?

If you allowed Windows Update to automatically update device drivers then that would explain why you have a black screen. Windows Update, in some cases, will download and install a screwed up device driver for your graphics card.

Safe Mode uses a basic Microsoft graphics driver.

You can download and run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove the current driver:

You can then download the latest graphics card driver from AMD and install it.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

What about booting up in Safe Mode with network access?

It says you can't use edge then.

You don't need to use Edge.

Look in the Windows Accessories folder and use Internet Explorer or use another browser that you may have installed like Firefox or Google Chrome.
