"Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device" Upon Installation of a New Motherboard

I upgraded to a new motherboard earlier today (new CPU and RAM to go along with that) I started up my PC after the install and went to install the mobo drivers. The first driver (an Intel driver, not sure which one) was taking an especially long time to download. I waited about an hour and it was still sitting there loading. I figured there was some sort of conflict, so I rebooted to try again. Upon rebooting, however, my PC could not recognize my C: drive. I tried selecting it as a priority and it just gave me the error "Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key". I plugged the SSD into my secondary PC and it read it fine as a drive, as I could access all of the files normally. It just isn't letting me boot on the drive my my main PC.

Am I overlooking something simple? Is my drive busted? Will I lose any data? I'm not sure.. Any and all help would be appreciated.

My PC specs in case they are of any concern

i7-7700k (upgraded from 4790k)
32GB DDR4 (upgraded from 32GB DDR3)
Gigabyte z170xp-SLI motherboard (upgraded from ASUS z97-A)
Crucial 256GB SSD - the C: drive in question
2x EVGA GTX 980ti SC in SLI
Windows 10 Home

I figured it out after a bit more research. I just followed the "Solution #3" on this page: https://www.deskdecode.com/reboot-and-select-proper-boot-device-explained/
