Using gtx 1080ti with a Freesync monitor with a 144hz refresh rate.

Lets preface by saying I am buying the monitor from a friend and it is a Freesync 144hz monitor. Naturally my GPU is a GTX 1080ti, also an astigmatism so bad in my left eye that it still surprises my doctor I can read the top line of an eye test (E). Side note my eye doctor is a dick.

I would like to know if there will be any noticeable (for the optically challenged) visual issues due to a lack of Freesync?
