Please guys, I'm about to go insane.
TV: Samsung 40KU6300
GPU: http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-770.shtml
Adapter: http://www.microsatacables.com/mini-dp-to-hdmi-20-4k-at-60hz
certified HDMI 2.0 cable
Windows 7 64Bit
Amd catalyst shows: max supported resolution 4k 75Hz (as expected from 1.2a display port)
windows control panel shows 3840x2160 in bold (recommended)
Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) shows 3840x2160 @ 60.000 Hz as first Detailed Resolutions
It should work, but doesn't, 4k is only 30Hz, if I try 60Hz tv shows black screen and after a few seconds: "check your cables"
I read dozens of threads in this site and others, I tried:
- Update drivers.
- TV in PC mode, HDMI port 1 with UHD color enabled.
- all the pixel formats (4:4:4, 4:2:2, etc)
- 8bpc/10bpc/12bpc
- plug/unplug cables, reboot PC multiple times
No success. Any ideas before I give up?
