Hello,

I have a laptop with a newly installed SSD and I want to change the default install path to the HDD. I have looked up how to do this on regedit, but I still want some programs on the SSD. To my knowledge, if I change the default installation path through regedit, the programs installed on my SSD might not function.

What is the remedy? Not all programs allow you to change the installation path (like Microsoft office), instead they just automatically install to the default path.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I understand that, however some programs do not ask for the location, they automatically install on the default drive

Well most of the setup ask or you have to select customize installation other then that there is no way
