I'm building myself a new PC with ADM Ryzen. I checked compatibility on pcpartpicker so it hopefully it's not an issue but have no idea about stability when these parts come together.

Here's the configuration:
CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 1600 WRAITH SPIRE
Motherboard: MSI B350M GAMING PRO (đang phân vân với em MSI A320M BAZOOKA)
RAM: CORSAIR 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 BUS 2666MHZ - BLACK (AMD RYZEN)
SSD: WD BLACK 256GB PERFORMANCE M.2
Power: GOLDEN FIELD 500W ATX- G500S
GPU: GIGABYTE GT 1030 OC 2G

P/s: my friend says I should go with core i7 8xxx, it's better for my job (I'm a programmer), any input on this would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

it won't make a huge difference in "programming" vs the i7. since mearly typing in code doesn't use any power, and it will handle multitasking equally/better than the i7. But compiling code depends on the compiler and whether it's multi-core or not, as well as how many cores it will use.
If it only compiles on a single core, the i7 would be better.
There's a rather huge cost increase going from the 1600 to the i7 though.

Except that PSU is very bad quality and can lead to performance/system health/lifespan problems. Get a better quality one. (you don't need more watts, just a higher quality better made PSU)
