What Was Your Experience Like Jumping from 1920x1080 to 2560x1400?

Solution
The difference from jumping from 60hz to 144hz is night and day. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is not as big, as the refresh rate jump, but still considerable.

Given the pricing of 144hz monitors, I don't understand why anyone would still be playing on 60hz other than you need a reasonable GPU to push it.

I recently went from 720p to 1440p and the difference is huge. I assume 1080p to 1440p isn't as big but it definitely nice getting 100FPS+ compared to a monitor that didn't even support 30 very well.

Can you elaborate more on your experience rather than just using the word "huge"?

It's like eating that trash pizza and then getting a job at a 5 star pizza place where they feed you endless amounts of pizza. I bumped from dual 980s to a 1080ti, so when I got the 1440p monitor, it just pushed the boundaries of gaming. I ended up doing better in PUBG since I felt like I had the higher FPS. I went from getting a kill or two to winning games easily once upgraded. I didn't think it'd be a huge change till once the upgrade was made. Overall, I am very happy with my upgrade and not disappointed whatsoever for skipping 1080p to go 1440p.

Yes, there is a clear difference. I would refuse to go back to my old monitor. I'd drop another 500$ to get the same monitor I have now.
