Sound issues, generic audio drivers

I have tried almost everything to try and resolve the issue but the only progress i have made is hearing a sound that is extremely quiet, unintelligable. I tried troubleshooting and it came up with "problems found generic audio driver Not fixed" please help because this is really annoying. I have thi maxtek headset with no other audio devices so it is automatically default and thats about it

Well then maybe you should try the audio driver for your motherboard if the generic windows audio driver is not working. It should be on your motherboards manufacturers website.

Open device manager, go down to 'sound, video, and game controllers'. What is in there? Is there a little yellow triangle next to anything in that folder or anywhere in device manager?

There*, ive installed new drivers but there is stil nothing. If it helps my headphones are connected by usb and its in the rear of the pc
