So I'm trying to reinstall Windows 10 but I keep getting the error "Windows cannot install required files 0x8007025d"

Anyone know how to fix this?

Solution

That's what writing zero to the drive does with GWScan i mentioned before, try installing the iso of GWScan on rufus

1. Try writing zero to t he drive using GWSCAN 5.12 or similar program (Burn the iso to a CD) and then try installing windows again
2. Try burning a new diskette of windows CD
3. Try installing windows on a different computer to understand if the problem is Hard Drive related or a mere CD problem

Thank you, I'll see if these work

Did you use Rufus to make the drive bootable and to contain Windows? I can't think of a more effective one to recommend.
