Why would I want a chromebook?

I understand there are reasons that a person would not get a chromebook.

I want to hear the reasons they would.

Easy, light weight (both in programs and overall size/weight). But it completely depends on what you are using it for. My friend got a Chromebook for his paper assignment. And it worked like a charm. It even defeats my Macbook on battery life.

People get chromebooks for simplicity and then they realize they want windows lol and techies buy chromebooks to install linux!!!
