Acer Predator XB241H Gsync DP issue

I recently purchased the Acer Predator XB241H monitor, and want to utilize gsync, however my pc does not have a DP port and it is required to utilize gsync, I purchased a DP to VGA but it didn't work..so what do I do?

So I guess the question is, what graphics card are you using that it doesn't have HDMI or displayport? If you are using something older than a GTX 650 Ti Boost, gsync will not work.

I have a GTX 1080, The issue is I'm trying to figure out what kind of adapter I need, I've tried DP to VGA, and it didn't work.It does have HDMI but HDMI won't work for GSYNC. and I can't seem to find any DP to HDMI's out there

You need direct from the GPU. Very unusual a new GPU doesn't have a DP port so you are out of luck.

Well according to that you have three display port, one HDMI and one DVI.

if your PC doesn't have DP, then you're either looking in the wrong place, or it doesn't have a GTX 1080
