No HDMI audio unless I reinstall GPU drivers after every reboot

I have a monitor that's connected via display port and it has built in speakers, I also have a TV hooked up via HDMI and as the title says, neither of those devices come up in the playback devices list unless I reinstall the AMD graphics drivers which then let's me use both of those devices. However, every time I reboot the system they just disappear again unless I reinstall the driver again. I never used to have this issue before and I have no idea what is causing it, devices that are connect through the motherboard still work and appear in the playback devices list

You could try checking online at the manufacturer's website for the latest audio drivers for your motherboard, and make sure you pick the correct operating system. for example, here is where you can get the latest drivers for an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ mobo: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/
you have to open the file and install it after you download, but I'm going to assume you knew that already.

Could also try updating your graphics card drivers.

If you already have the latest drivers, then you could try completely uninstalling the audio drivers and then reinstalling them. do you have some other audio program running? maybe you have some old driver trying to run audio and windows thinks it is the default or best driver and keeps using that one instead of the new one. maybe the old one needs to be uninstalled.

The GPU driver is up to date and so is the audio driver which I got from the mobo manufacturer's website. I tried completely uninstalling the realtek driver and software and just installing the GPU driver and again it all works fine until I restart the computer. The first screenshot is before reinstalling the graphics drivers and the second screenshot is after, however it goes back to the first one after a reboot.
I also tried doing a clean install of a gpu driver and this time it appeared as ATI Audio and the devices appeared as Realtek HDMI audio device rather than AMD hd audio device, but again the same story goes back to what its like on the first screenshot.
Almost like the amd audio driver uninstalls itself after a reboot no matter what I try?

I'm not really sure. You could try running ccleaner to clean up files and the registry after uninstalling completely to try and make sure it is actually cleaned up. also, do you have the TV on before the computer starts up? I had a problem where the audio drivers didn't start correctly when I turned the TV on during boot up. also, this article I found might help too.
