I have an old mp3 player, which works fine (tested on my old xp machine too), but my new machine, which uses win 10 can`t recognize it for some reason. When I plug it in I hear a double beep (plug in sound, then half a second later a pull out sound), It appears on the device manager for half a second. If I leave it in the USB slot, then the process is repeated every ~30 seconds.
I had to clean reinstall win, but even after that it doesn`t work, behaves just like before.
Methods which I already tried:
- unplugging the computer
- removing all USB devices, trying different USB slots
- removing all USB-hubs, then reinstalling them (worked in the past on a different case)
I have feeling it`s gonna be a win10 driver or MOB issue.
MOB: PC Mate 85b-41g.
