First things first, my current specs:

  • Lian-Li TU100 (10.8" x 6.3" x 9.5")
    Radeon R9 Nano
    Ryzen 5 1600X
    2 x 8Gb Ram
    2 x 256Gb SSD
Here is what the case looks like with an SFX PSU:

I'm looking for a PSU that's stronger than 600W (adding LED and liquid-cooling), while being smaller than an SFX (9" x 3" x 8").
I've taken apart the case to allow space at the top, and bottom to allow more space for a different PSU so that.
First PSU that came to mind is the Athena Power AP-U1ATX70 700W Single 1U:

Size wise it works, but are there any other options?

[strike]I'm looking for a psu that won't get into the way of the processor. That's why I'm looking for one smaller than SFX, most of them are too large.

Actually, I'll prob measure the Corsair before I jump to conclusions.

600w should be plenty.
Your max draw from the graphics card is 225w, the 1600X is a 95w processor.
more with overclocking.
I can't imagine fans, led's and pumps would be as much as 100w.

Whatever you do, buy a quality psu.
I do not think Athena power is of sufficient quality to deliver the 700w as advertised where you need it.

There are external power supplies in at least the 600w range like this:
