Dell XPS 420 RAID

I upgraded my old XPS to Win 10 Pro 32bit with no issues, all seems well. I've never used the built in RAID feature but my old "DeathStar" hard drive has been clicking on and off for about 5 years. I was wanting to put another drive in and setup RAID 1 before it gave up the ghost and I lost data. I seem to be running into issues finding / installing Intel matrix storage driver and application. suggestions?

yeh I get that part. When I try to install though it tells me "This platform is not supported."

yeh, "SetupRST.exe" shows to contain:

Windows Server 2016*
Windows® 10, 32-bit*
Windows® 10, 64-bit*
Windows 8.1, 32-bit*
Windows 8.1, 64-bit*
Windows 7, 32-bit*
Windows 7, 64-bit*

is my problem chipset related? do i need an older version maybe of RST?

i have NOT tried that version. . .i've tried several but not that one. let's see what it does for me.

well, tried this version. says it won't run because of .NET framework 4.5 missing . . . however 4.5 or better is already installed. tried installing SetupRST in diff compatibility modes and still a no go. . .

ever tried removing .net framework 4.6 om Win10 ? . . . . i don't see a way to. . .at least not yet, still digging around.
