How to Stabilize Gaming FPS?

Hi All,

I’m getting a lot of variance in my FPS. Attached is a chart of it over the course of a game. Are these kind of fluctuations normal? Can it be stabilized? Or at least narrowed?

Luckily the dips aren’t going below 60, but I imagine they will once I start playing more graphic-intensive games.

This is my first PC build, hence my limited knowledge…

Intel i3-7100
GTX 1050 Ti
8GB DDR4-2400

Fluctuations are normal. On less intensive games they are more present simply because a lot of times a gpu is not taxed hard enough. You can cap you fps at let's say 60 fps and it will stay that way.
