Should I pickup some used monitors or a new one?

The question says it all. New or used monitors? I'll definately be getting an upgraded monitors down the line which is why I ask.

I see nothing wrong with used monitors as long as they're not abused monitors. If you can buy them locally, so you know they don't smell like cigarette smoke or whatever, and ensure that they work, I'd go that route.

If you can find a good price and from a reliable seller then yes it would be okay. Just ask to make sure it works and see it before you buy it.

They're new in box for anywhere between 20-50 dollars. Flat screen 1080p.

New 108p monitors for 50 bucks??? I wan't in!
However, that price is half of what normal new 1080p screens will cost you. If the seller has no way of actually showing you they work and haven't been shat on, I would not pull the trigger.

Yes like I stated earlier dont get it unless you can see they work. For all you know he could have pulled them out, realized they were cracked then slid them back in the box with some box tape and sold them. See them before you buy.
