Hi all, okay this one has bugging me for a while.

Essentially, before and unless I install the drivers for my graphics card the boot up text and logos look somewhat' corrupted... I'm going to upload some pictures in a few mins but anyone know what this could be due to? - driving me NUTS!

Get that but to the right? and made it nearly impossible to go through the installation (languages, updates, option) process, surely THAT's not right, never happened with XP, 7 or 8.

hard to tell without a pic

might just have been a compatibility issue between the Win 10 installer and your system before the appropriate drivers were present

regardless, if everything is fine and dandy after the install, then it's no biggy really

Seriously gets on my wick and the effects the boot-up screen EVERY time until hits desktop AND on the BIOS screen so makes hard to tinker around with fans etc. I've re-sat graphics card, obviously (as you can see) reinstalled everything from scratch (for numerous reason, not just that ;) and have nothing but the latest drivers installed.

ohhhh... i thought it was only like that during the install

it looks like during the boot/startup it's displaying at the wrong resolution

before windows boots, does the bios logo appear in the middle of the screen and if you access the bios is it ok, or is that off centre as well?

OOOOoooo good question, you know what, it used to display over to the right too but now (only completed install this morning) I'm pretty sure it's in the middle. What does/would this mean if it is?

I'll check that when I get in and let you know how I get on, thanks for all the help so far!!!

Whilst I'm at it, two more questions ;) for my CPU what would you say is a decent (circa £100) graphics card (new or used: ebay) to upgrade to thus enabling more than 30 frames in Battlefront: SW? and I'm open to more clocking of both CPU and GC (know I'll need a Cooler Master 212 or liquid if push more)
and
When you clock your CPU, it only stays clocked within THAT system right? i.e. if you remove the chip and sit in another system you have to start over right?

UPDATE: 99.9% of the system is running absolutely fine so for now gonna put up with this but here's a WEIRDER one for you to solve. Everywhere I look on any system info apps they're insistent I have 2 x of 1337 instead of 1866, wtf???

Can provide pics upon request.

Will do and i'll grab a screenie, found a few vids that should assist and also cease the newly acquired issue of a fan problem asking me to hot F1 before boot.
