Reusing my 1tb hdd from a ubuntu computer in a windows 10 computer.

I had a linux ubuntu computer with 250gb ssd as the boot drive and a 1tb as a slave drive. I decided to convert to windows 10, bought a 500gb ssd and now I can not get the 1tb drive to be visible to windows 10 disk manager. When I look in the bios, it shows thes the 500gb as SATA 1 and the 1tb as SATA 4. Questions 1) how can I get Win 10 Disk manager to see the drive, and 2) once it's found, can it be used in the windows invironment without reformatting.

Got it to show in disk management by running a memory check (suggested in another thread. Was able to re-patrician and format the drive, but it still is not visible to windows. I will start another thread since this seems to be a different issue.
