Wrong name for user in file manager

I have recently built my own pc and everything is fine except his one little thing. When I open my file manager and I check my C:/User my name is spelled wrong. (It misses the last letter). I don't know why this happened as I think it should have copied that name from my other pc and that pc has my name spelled correctly. Does anybody know if I can change that name without messing up all my programs? Or is this impossible to do? I have used this pc for a month now so resetting everything is not an option.

it is in the registry... Just live with it. Sorry. There might be a way to change it. I'd not try unless you take an image of the system before you begin... and create a second Admin user account, just in case you blow it.

Use your computer's admin account to go in and change/correct your User Name.

Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > Change account types. Left click your current user name and select "Change account name".

That does not change the name as seen in the file manager... The c:\User\MyName remains the same only the displayed names change
