If I have 2 monitors plugged into the GPU and 1 into the motherboard....

Hey, so as the title says if I have 2 monitors plugged into my GPU and one into the motherboard where is the motherboard monitor getting its display from...? Would it be powered by the GPU or intel's integrated graphics on the CPU?

It's probably obvious but it is just confusing the heck out of me.

The integrated GPU on the CPU provides the video outputs on the MB.

Thank you for the quick reply, I have a follow up question if you wouldn't mind. Say for example I am playing a CPU intensive game with this monitor plugged in... Will it effect performance at all and if so will it be a significant difference?

Or as integrated GRAPHICS suggest, will it have no effect on the actual processing?

Using iGPU on 2nd monitor should not affect performance at all.
