Thinking about upgrading but not sure if it is worth it right now

This is simply just me wanting to hear other opinions on if I should upgrade my rig and suggestions on what to upgrade.

Rig:
Asus Z97-A (MOBO)
Intel i5-4670k OC to 4.3 Ghz (CPU)
EVGA GTX 980 SC (GPU)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 clocked @ 1600 (RAM)
Corsair 750M Power supply

For 144hz gaming? Just a 4790k upgrade is enough.
If it 60hz, u r all set.

Should I upgrade the GPU or wait for NVIDIA to release they're new cards?

Definitely wait for Volta. That 980 is perfect for 1080p 144hz gaming.
