How do i deactivate windows on current PC to use it on new PC

I bought the full version when I build my pc 3 years back. I'm building new pc now. I know you can transfer windows but how... will disabling product key do it or do I have to do more than that?

there is a web site you can log into on the new PC and detach the old PC from your Microsoft email address once its activated. Go here to see a list of all devices linked to your account, see under the more actions button for remove PC - https://account.microsoft.com/devices
