The Amazon link shows you three versions of the Asus GTX 1080 Strix (all similar in physical appearance but different clock speeds):
Asus ROG STRIX-GTX1080-
8G-GAMING (https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING/)
Asus ROG STRIX-GTX1080-
A8G-GAMING (https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING/)
Asus ROG STRIX-GTX1080-
O8G-GAMING (https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING/)
The "
8G" model has its engine clock speed at
1607 MHz (Base) to 1733 MHz (Boost) in
Gaming Mode and
1632 MHz (Base) to 1771 MHz (Boost) in
OC Mode.
The "
A8G" model has its engine clock speed at
1670 MHz (Base) to 1809 MHz (Boost) in
Gaming Mode and
1695 MHz (Base) to 1835 MHz (Boost) in
OC Mode.
The "
O8G" model has its engine clock speed at
1759 MHz (Base) to 1898 MHz (Boost) in
Gaming Mode and
1784 MHz (Base) to 1936 MHz (Boost) in
OC Mode.
The type shown in the Amazon link labelled "
Base Clock 1607 MHz" pertains to the
8G model. The "
Boost Clock 1835 MHz" pertains to the
A8G model. The "
Boost Clock 1936 MHz" pertains to the
O8G model.
All those MHz pertain to factory-set clock speeds. There is only a slight difference in those speeds among those GPU models when compared: 63-64 MHz difference between the 8G and the A8G; and 89-101 MHz difference between the A8G and the O8G.
