Boot mode keeps resetting upon battery getting to 0%

Hello community! I got laptop Acer Aspire E5-573-P7XW, since I bought it I keep getting the same problem...While boot mode is set to UEFI, it cannot find bootable device to boot on but when I set it to Legacy it works all good. This option keeps reseting when my battery goes low. Any way to solve this?

replace the cmos battery, it sounds like it is dead. Its job is to act as a power source for BIOS while PC is off so it doesn't forget.
