So I was on CyberpowerPC and saw pretty low prices for a PC with pretty decent specs. I've built PCs before, but this time I'm going to see what's all the fuss with pre-built systems. I configured it to be cheap, yet still an effective system for all of today's games. Coming out to a grand total of, $1,193.55 USD including shipping costs. What do you think of the price for performance? Do you think this is a straight up waste of money, or will I be able to use what my money was spent on?

A bit CPU heavy, and the i7s will age kinda bad, so kinda imbalanced but not terrible, fine for today's games. (@1080p)
It'd get that $19 + shipping warranty cause shipping this stuff back if it goes wrong can be expensive.

It's cheaper than what it'd cost you to build it yourself... but CPPC "build quality" can be kinda bleh.

Yeah. It's a bit on the imbalanced side. I did this intentionally to get a cheap PC with decent hardware at purchase. The case is nice, so I plan to tinker with it a bit. Along the lines of doing cable management myself, changing CPU thermal paste to a higher quality compound, buy better RAM (Probably 16GB/2800MHz of Corsair Vengeance LPX) and swap it out, most likely going to delid the 7700k because of it's thermal issues and apply a liquid metal to the die, and at some point install a 1080 or 1080ti to make use of the 7700k. I'm basically just buying it do to the price because it'll be a fun thing to tinker with and upgrade as I go. So buying a PC with hardware like that for under $1,200 seems like a deal to me. I have the time to go through and fix things and, change the crappy build quality I'm expecting from them. About that $19 shipping warranty. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm going to get that because I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot something important in the build and I needed to send it back.
