Hi there, I have a 4k LG TV (49UF680V) connected to a HP Elitedesk 800 G1 USDT computer, using a displayport to HDMI 2.0 adapter and HDMI 2.0 amazon basics cable, connected to the HDMI 1 input of my TV (which has engraved 4K@60Hz above the port)

I cannot for the life of me achieve 60Hz, only 30Hz.. The DP to HDMI adapter explicitly states it supports 4K60Hz, so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. This PC has an i5 4570S with HD graphics 4600. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as I'd like to view content above 30FPS at the native resolution.

Hi, sorry I don't think I explained the situation very well, the computer has displayport, I am using a displayport to HDMI 2.0 adapter to connect to the HDMI 2.0 port on my 4K TV which does support 4k60hz under HDMI 2.0 (which is what I'm using.)

OK, I may have misread. So, now you just need a high-speed HDMI Category-2 cable - and that's that.

Cheers,

I have a High Speed 2.0 compliant cable. I just tested it with my main desktop rig and was able to get 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz on my TV, so I've found that the TV or HDMI cable aren't at fault. It can only be the computer or the display port to HDMI active adapter itself.

Hey Ryan,

I have the same problem, but with a 800 G2...two different active DP>HDMI2 Adapters, different HDMI 2.0 Cables, but only 4k in 30hz . Now I saw that HP offers a DP>HDMI Adapter too. Do you have a solution meanwhile ?
