Ok I'm about to build a new pc and I'm not sure if I should get a monitor or just use one of my two tvs. I'll be playing pubg to start with.
Here's the build

The other parts I'm getting from my old rig.
Here's my tvs
Samsung ks8000 55"

Sony x810c 55"

Don't want to spend a ton on a new monitor if that's the way I should go about $200 maybe more if it's really worth it but definitely under $300. I have like zero experience using a tv as a monitor so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
The main problem with tv for gaming is the input lag. Thats why usually its not recommended for gaming, specially AAA games. But then, to some people its a negligible factor. Best thing is to use one of your tv first and see how you can adapt to it. Move to a monitor in case you find it underperforming as per your expectation.
Changed some of the components in the build for better performance. Better board, ram and a better card for just 30 bucks more. 1070 is immensely overpriced currently due to shortage and there is no point buying it for that price. Also included a decent monitor in case you need it.
