Hello, I'm new to the forums and I have a Dell Latitude E5470, I play World of Warcraft and occasionally notice some lag. I was wondering what you guys think of the system and should I fill that second RAM slot in this laptop. Also any recommended speeds and brands would be welcome as well.

This is a link to my hardware from Belarc application, sorry I couldn't find a good way to just share a picture of the results.

You will need to find a RAM module that is supported by your specific laptop. However as you already got 8 GB you will really not see much improvements going to 16 GB. Your main issue is probably because you don't have a discrete GPU in that laptop, only the onboard Intel GPU.

Alright, thank you and I was afraid that was probably the problem. Also to add to my frustration I dont have a TB3 output for an eGPU either.

Adding memory is not recommended or guaranteed to work. Adding memory means you assume responsibility for testing memory that has never been tested together.
