D Drive Stopped Working

Today when I logged onto my computer, my D-drive, which is an HDD I use for storage along with an SSD, is gone. When I went to disk management, it was listed there, but uninitialized, and my computer seems to think it has 0 capacity. Trying to initialize the disk results in an error, either saying that the disk is too small, or "the system cannot find the file specified", depending on if I try to initialize as GPT or MBR, respectively. What can I do to solve this?

what make/model hdd is it?

If its from western Digital, try running Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for windows, short and long tests
If its from Seagate, try running Seatools for windows
If its another brand, run hdtune and look on the health tab

If hdd is dying or dead, there isn't a lot you can do apart from replace it.
