Computer is Not able to do a Factory reset.

I want to do a factory reset, but i cant when i try to do it, once i click " get started" on resetting this PC it simply freezes the application, I dont really know what to do, I don't need to keep any of the files. i did Shift+restart and reset pc but it says "there was a problem resetting your PC" If anyone could help me out that would be appreciated. Thank You.

Why dont ypu reformat your WIndows Partition C drive and reinstall the windows it will be better

You need to create a bootable windows USB or DVD 1st
then only you can do the windows installation

Download the media creation tool from microsoft.

Run it, and select the option for using a USB stick for the installation media (4GB or larger REQUIRED,) not the DVD option which requires a DVD burner drive to be available.

Reboot your PC from it. and When prompted, let it know you want to ignore any data already present. Follow instructions on screen,

NOTE: You must have your Windows Key OR your Microsoft Account login info to officially reactivate the new clean install of Windows 10, which will be needing its updates.

This is how you are going to install after making the bootable USB
at the startup all you have to do is chose the USB device as boot option you can do that via F8 Key when you start your PC just keep pressing the key while usb inserted
